Software House End of Life Announcement
Software House, an InterTECH Security access control Supply Partner, has announced December 31st of 2006 as the date when they will finally stop supporting the C-Cure 1 Plus Access Control System product family. The timing of the announcement gives 1+ customers about one year before their equipment is no longer supported by the manufacturer.
In their formal announcement on the issue, Software House notes that "the majority of our 1 Plus customers have migrated to C-Cure 800", and that "existing Service Support Agreements will be honored until their expiration date, but will not be renewed to extend beyond December 31, 2006."
"It is never an easy business decision to transition a product line into 'End of Life' status, but we are confident that the shift in our product development resources will allow us to continue to provide...dramatic technological advancements in access control and security management technologies for years to come."
For more information on the details of the announcement, or access control technology options in general, contact InterTECH Security.
