RS2 Technologies Releases Access It! Enterprise 4.0
RS2 Technologies, LLC has announced the release of Access It! Enterprise 4.0. The new release contains many new features and enhancements such as:
• Added biometric interface (Recognition Systems, Bioscript) • Added biometric smartcard encoding (Bioscript) • Added "Download Firmware" command to SCPs and SIOs • Added Card OR PIN Mode/PIN Only mode • Post alarm if SCP free memory is too low • Made 2 card rule switch able via a command • Users are now maintained within the system database rather than using their Windows login information for stronger application security • Users now belong to User Groups (roles) so that permissions may be maintained for more than one user at a time • Added instant messaging (with user permissions) • Can now have additional columns in card holders grid display • Ability to limit the reports/maps/macros that a user sees by login • Can now restrict users access to commands(Grant Access, etc.) on toolbars in alarms, maps if user does not have access to hardware • Under permissions, in addition to none, view only, and full, we now have view only + commands • Can now activate/deactivate a card on date AND time • Added use limit feature • Added cipher mode • Added vacation date access • Added temporary access level feature • Rework card wizard so that it includes all fields from the cards screen • 3 MegaPixel + Pictures will now scale down to the size of the screen - any part of picture can be cropped • Added ability to change names on timezones "Always" and "Never" • Added procedure delay capability to tasks • Added 1r support(can now define 2r as having one reader, two aux inputs, one aux output) • Elevator - can now rename the floor outputs instead of only having the output numbers • Elevator - can now "View" what a floor code will look like when applied to a reader • Added Casi F/2F switch, Northern Mag Decode switch to Reader Types screen • Added support for Windows Terminal Server (thin client) • Client/Server setup has been simplified and made more security and firewall friendly • The server process now runs as a true windows service that can be run as the local system account • The site processes have been combined in to server process to eliminate multiple site executables and conserve system resources • A DVR camera can now be associated with more than one device • The Daylight Savings Time settings are now being pulled from the operating system instead of from the application database. This will allow for DST compatibility further in to the future without manual changes being made to the database. This will also address the year 2007 DST law changes automatically. • Database access has been optimized for better performance and reduced demand on the database server • Archive utility is much improved • Initial application setup has been greatly simplified • Card update checking is now much improved • Can now search by card number in cardholder form • Alarms are now processed from within a single alarms window instead of having a separate alarm window for each site
