IDenticard Improves On Badge Printer Warranty
From IDenticard, now part of GE Infrastructure, Security:
We are happy to announce that effective April 1, 2005, IDenticard — part of GE Infrastructure Security — is providing the first year warranty service for all Zebra P310i, P330i, P420i and P520i ID badge printers sold by IDenticard.
IDenticard’s first year warranty combines all the benefits of the manufacturer’s warranty with the following enhancements:
- Loaner printers are shipped via overnight delivery by IDenticard instead of the current two-day delivery by Zebra.
- A simple phone call to the IDenticard technical support initiates the loaner printer process; no need to provide a purchase order or a credit card, or to sign a document. IDenticard technicians will initiate the loaner process if they are unable to correct the printer problem over the phone.
Here are the warranty benefits of purchasing a Zebra printer from IDenticard:
- A savings of $20-$80 in shipping costs per incident, depending on printer type and end-user’s location
- Reduction in number of phone calls for assistance since we no longer require an initial phone call to the manufacturer’s technical support
- Elimination of the costs associated with issuing a purchase order
- “Down” time is cut in half because we ship overnight delivery
- The ability to lock in this level of service throughout an extended service agreement
We are providing the same benefits whether the printer is purchased directly from us or from an IDenticard partner who bought the printer from us. Beginning April 1, 2005, every Zebra P310i, P330i, P420i and P520i shipped by IDenticard automatically includes our new warranty support.
