AMAG Technology Previews New Version 5.0 Access Control and Security Management Software at ASIS 2004 - New version will feature a wealth of new and enhanced standard capabilities plus optional features such as a new Threat Level Manager™
Dallas, TX. (September 27, 2004) – AMAG Technology (ASIS 2004 booth 3124), an advanced security technology solution developer with over 15,000 installations worldwide, previews its new version 5.0 access control and security management software at the 2004 ASIS Security Conference. The new version 5.0 software, scheduled for release in January 2005, features an expansive set of new and improved capabilities, such as an enhanced visitor management system and expanded digital video recording (DVR) integration options.
In keeping with AMAG Technology’s 30-year track record of product innovation, the new version 5.0 software improves on AMAG’s already easy-to-use interface with new graphical calendars, system-wide time code visualizations, and real-time, on-screen alarm statistics. The new version 5.0 software also expands AMAG’s range of third-party integration options to include Pelco, Cieffe, and Bosch DVRs and improvements to the AMAG-DMP intrusion panel integration.
AMAG version 5.0 software adds new security management modules to its portfolio of optional upgrade products. Most prominent among these are:
AMAG Threat Level Manager: Enables one-touch total system reconfiguration aligned with U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Threat Advisories.
XML Developers Kit: Allows powerful enterprise data integration using Microsoft® .Net web services.
Enhanced BACnet Integration: Provides seamless integration with HVAC and building management systems.
“We developed this new range of capabilities based on what our customers have told us they would like to have in a full-featured security solution,” said Robert Sawyer, President and CEO of AMAG Technology, Inc. “AMAG invests heavily in continuous product development to make sure that our new and existing customers have cost-effective, reliable access to the most advanced security technology available.”
