Chris Olson
Manager, Project Management and Engineering Services
Chris has held positions in sales, consulting and project management with InterTECH before assuming his most recent role. Chris has been directly responsible for developing relationships with some of InterTECH’s largest clients.
As a product manager, Chris has successfully managed the engineering, installation, commissioning, integration and testing of access control, video management, intrusion detection, vehicle control, intercom, fire protection, wireless duress, and emergency call systems. Chris has also consulted with clients on security system designs and specification development for large scale integrated systems.
Prior to joining InterTECH, Chris held technical positions for an engineered software development firm and a leading electrical control and distribution manufacturing company. He was responsible for the development of the design specifications for custom automation software and hardware for manufacturing and research companies. This experience provided the in depth knowledge and understanding of how software is designed to interact and communicate with hardware systems that are similar to the technologies used in the security industry today.
Chris holds an engineering degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
